## Referral Applications

Scholars who have good standing within the program may refer their friends and family for consideration. The referral application status will be communicated in the:newspaper:**referral-application** channel, it will often be closed due to a surplus of referrals already submitted.

### About Submitting Referrals

* Please only send the application to one person, since often people refer many candidates it makes it difficult to track who should be selected first.
* Your referral must be a member of our discord, have a profile photo, have their own twitter account, and set up their own personal Ronin wallet.
* For status of referrals please reach out to your manager, I will not be able to comment any longer on the status of referrals.

If you refer somebody this means you vouch for them. If it is found that they are breaking the terms of service it will also be your responsibility.

### How referrals are chosen 

* Scholars are given 1-2  referrals, with referrals being selected from the scholars who have been with the program the longest first. 
* Sometimes the order may be broken when specific referrals are contributing to the community and they were standing out in other ways.
* Additionally, sometimes referrals are skipped over because they haven't followed the guidelines.

## Team Swap Requests

Since the meta changes over time and the Showdown Scholars program improves, often new scholars are getting the latest and greatest and so we have implemented team swaps to give existing scholars the opportunity to improve their teams.

The current team comp of Showdown Scholars is to have a plant frontline, an aqua midline with nimo, and an aqua backline with koi.

#### If you are having issues with your team please follow these steps:

1. Post a replay of an arena match in :movie\_camera: **replay-review** and ask for feedback. Sometimes we can just make some small gameplay tweaks and the wins will start coming in!
2. Reach out to your scholar manager notifying them that you want a team swap. Specify which axies you are specifically concerned about.

Team swap requests will be supported based on the lowest quality teams first, and will not always be honored exactly. When swapping teams I give the best axies I can and always ensure it is an improvement. I cannot guarantee that every scholar will have their team swap requests honored, but I will constantly be working to improve scholar teams over time.<br>
