The application process is often closed due to a high demand of potential scholars, but will open on occasion when slots are available.

### Checking the Application Status

1. Follow [Showdown Scholars](https://twitter.com/SDscholars) on twitter.
2. Join the Discord [here](https://discord.gg/w5bfSEXf8f).
3. Agree to the terms of service
4. Check the status in the :page\_with\_curl: **applications** channel.

Directly messaging F15HY or any scholars and requesting a scholarship or posting your application anywhere in the discord will result in being banned from consideration for the program.
